We have a very broad client base both in the UK and in Japan. We, unlike some others perhaps, do not collect up Agencies like collecting postage stamps; we prefer to forge a deep relationship with the Mills that we choose to represent, our hope and wish is that the Mills we represent will come to depend upon us and be pleased to do so, we do try to enjoy those relationships.
In the UK we undertake the Delcredere responsibility, ensuring that Sellers do get paid even in the event of a bankruptcy. This is a responsibility that we do not take lightly, we insure pretty much all of our business, if not then we will have another form of security.
Nason Davis has an exemplary payment record of which we are proud. We are well financed, as our consolidated balance sheet will show. In some of the developing countries such as Estonia it is not unheard of that we have been willing to provide finance for logs and equipment to some close business partners there.
We have been awarded the Top 20 Partnership and last year the Top 10 Partnership Award by one of the major sawmilling groups in Estonia.
Because of our unparalleled expertise in our field our Mills have total confidence in us and we are able to sort out any unforeseen problems with ease given that we speak from a position of strength and knowledge.
We formulate and supply a shipping schedule record of all of our running contracts to the Mills we represent making it easy for them to fill in the information and highlighting areas where they may be falling behind.
We operate on tried and tested TTF contracts.
No other Agency Company has the intimate knowledge of the UK and the Japanese markets as we do. No one else in our position has an office in Japan and Estonia and enjoy the associated great benefits they create.
