Doubuchi

Since mid-2010 our Estonian Co. has been producing High Quality Doubuchi in Whitewood.

Our Japanese customers have been asking if we could source a high quality product as they were becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the product that they had been buying from Central Europe; too much Wane, Blue-stain and even Worm holes !

We use only Sideboards, so all of our Doubuchi products are flat grain.

We have contracted with two Estonian planing mills that work only for Nason Davis to make Doubuchi for us according to our exact specifications.

Our Estonian Company purchase suitable raw material which is then pre-graded by us before manufacture. We apply very strict grading rules in order to be the preferred supplier of quality Doubuchi in Japan. We sort into A grade, some B grade (packaged separately) and rejects which are taken up by the Estonian local market. Goods are then Mini-tied and Wrapped 5 sides.

We can also Bar-code for the Japanese DIY market and make shorter lengths, e.g. 1900mm if required.

Most Doubuchi sizes can be offered, we have so far produced the following sizes but others can be made available upon request.
