Decking

We use only Redwood and we take the raw material from small logs which gives us a small tight knotted product; very few dead knots, basically small and live. We believe that this is one of the best decking products available on the market in softwood.

 Additional benefits are that the narrow widths that we use mean less possibility for shakes and very much less cupping, both essential points for quality decking.

 As the logs are small then the % of sapwood is large, this allows a more satisfactory penetration of preservative. We use Tanalith E Green and treat properly to Use class 3.

We can also supply without any treatment if required.

The profile is double sided, so reversible according to choice of profile.

Sizes available are:

36x115 Nominal, finishing  32x108mm

32x125 Nominal, finishing  28x120mm 

32x115 Nominal, finishing  28x108mm   This is the most popular size to date.

32x110 Nominal, finishing  28x105mm

Lengths: Random 3.6M and longer, allowing some small % shorter, usually heavy to 3.9/4.2M and can go up to 6.0M

We pre-sell most of this production in the Winter months for delivery in the Spring/Summer. Supplies are a little bit limited so early ordering is advisable.

Shipped to the UK on maffis to minimise any transportation damage.
