The Company is wholly owned by Nason Davis Ltd.
 
The Company Directors are Indrek Tani and Rainar Laagus. In common with other Estonian Companies there is an 'extra layer' of management called The Council; members of the Council are Stephen Nason, Chris James & David Balch, from Nason Davis Ltd.
  
We established Nason Davis Eesti Oü in 2002 in Tartu in South Estonia. Tartu is Estonia's second city and is a university town. Prior to the establishment of Nason Davis Eesti Ou the principle Company members had been trading with Nason Davis Ltd for a number of years whilst working for another Estonian timber trading company.
 
The principle activity is timber trading and timber agency business. We represent small to medium sized Estonain sawmills and trade with Russian raw material which we bring to Estonia for further processing. We also have close relationships with the major Estonian sawmillers.
 
The Company has an unrivalled payment reputation; without fail we always pay our suppliers exactly on time. This is a most important function in that all of our suppliers, and especially the smaller mills, can rely totally upon us.
 
Our main target markets are the UK and Japan together with some Irish, Norwegian & German business.
 
We are the largest exporters of Aspen (populas tremula) and Alder (alnus glutinosa & incana) to the UK for the Pallet & Packing industries and for Bearers.
 
We have pioneered a range of new Black Sleepers and Black Painted Weatherboards/Featheredge in joinery quality. We also sell Birch (betula pendula), machined into brush & broom backs.
 
The Company has several programs running for Doubuchi and DIY products to Japan and enjoy the highest reputation for quality in those products.
